Optimist One Design racing foils from Optiparts are built according to the new class rules and used at many World and Continental IODA Championships. Class rules have standardised Optimist rudder size, shape, epoxy, foam and fiberglass. The Optimist rudder is made to the maximum allowed thickness to create Optimist foils as stiff as possible under the given rules.
