Refund policy


Please choose carefully as we do not offer refunds if you change your mind or purchase an incorrect product. It is the customers responsibility to ensure goods meet their requirements prior to purchasing.

Where goods are faulty, have been wrongly described, are different to the product purchased on the website, or does not do what it is supposed to do, you may choose between a refund, exchange or a credit. Under Australian Consumer Law, you may be entitled to have the goods repaired, exchanged or refunded. If the item is deemed to have a minor failure, we reserve the right to repair the item and therefore not offer a refund or credit.

For any refund enquiries, please contact info@slyboatbuilding.com.au. All refund must provide proof of purchase.

When returning items back to us, please ensure you have packed your item securely to prevent damage during transit. The claimant must await our instructions regarding the return of the item. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your returned item, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

DAMAGES & ISSUES 
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue in an attempt to rectify the matter.

EXCEPTIONS /  NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
We do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
